Anthonisha | Texas

Meet Anthonisha and her family.

Anthonisha is a shy teenager but makes friends fairly easily. This brave young lady was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) in January 2014. ALL is a fast-growing cancer of a type of white blood cells called lymphocytes. About 6,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with ALL each year.

Hello Kitty is Anthonisha’s favorite icon and her favorite TV show is Teen Titans Go and Everybody Hates Chris. She and her brother are inseparable—he’s the first person that makes her smile or laugh for no reason, all day, every day.

Once Anthonisha puts her mind to something, she works diligently at it. She’s extremely creative and confident at any project that she attempts.

We are wishing her a long, happy and healthy life ahead!

A very special thank you to Shawna Edoo of Edoo Photography for donating her time and talent.

Madison | Florida

Meet Madison and her family.

Madison is a sweet and loving 15-year-old who adores music. Her favorite song is “The wheels on the bus” — when her family sings this song, she’ll giggle and smile really big.

Madison has an amazing smile that is contagious! She loves Tinker bell, likes to go to church and enjoys swimming at aquatic therapy.

Madison has dealt with a lot in her short life, more than most will ever know or understand in an entire lifetime, including: Spastic Quad Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, upper airway obstruction, obstructive sleep apnea, cortical vision impairment, and Sandifer’s syndrome.

Madison is in a wheelchair and is unable to sit up, walk, or talk. Although she has vision trouble, her hearing is perfect, and Mom and Dad know how to make her smile!

And goodness gracious what a bright smile she has!

A very special thank you to Diona Williams Photography for donating her time and talent.

Avery | California

Meet 1-year-old Avery and her family.

Three words to describe Avery:

Fighter, active, and independent.

We’d also like to add, for the record:

The cutest little girl you’ve seen in your entire life.

Her mom explained, “She is such a fighter. She has been through hell and back—there were multiple times we weren’t sure how much longer she could fight, but she just kept pushing right through everything life threw at her.”

Avery was diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome, a chromosome 22 defect which can cause medical problems including heart issues; she uses has a trach and a G-tube to help her breathe and eat.

Avery has surpassed doctor’s expectations and they are continually impressed at how she isn’t “textbook.” She is a very active child. She is becoming such an independent little girl and wants to do everything in her own time including rolling and sitting up.

She has her own plans in life. She is the most happy when she’s with mommy or in her bouncer. She is a total mommy’s girl and lights up when mommy is around. Avery truly is a miracle.

Our deepest gratitude to Sara Kovacs of Baby Bean Portraits for donating her time and talent.

Bryce | Wisconsin

Meet Bryce and his family.

This 6-year-old little ray of sunshine will give the biggest smiles for bubbles. We can’t get over his bright eyes, too!

He’s a big sweetheart, is a very caring and affectionate boy who loves cuddling. Bryce loves Spiderman as well as his little brother who is his best friend.

His brother is 4-years-old and before diagnosis they were inseparable, so it’s been very hard on the two.

Bryce was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on his 5th birthday, August 24, 2014. Today he is currently in remission. He is 9 months into his 3 1/2 year chemo treatment with an end date of November 2017.

We wish him a long, healthy life ahead full of laughter and smiles.

A very special thank you to Gina Fiene of Fiene Photography for donating her time and talent.

Daniel | California

Meet Daniel and his big, beautiful, brave family.

Tiny Sparrow Foundation had the privilege and honor of capturing the final moments of Daniel’s life with his loved ones. The very next day after this photo shoot, Daniel earned his angel wings after fighting Medulloblastoma — a high-grade, fast-growing, relatively rare brain tumor, accounting for less than 2% of all primary brain tumors and 18% of all pediatric brain tumors.

This little boy is everything. Joyful. Lovable. One of a kind. Daniel will be remembered as a happy boy who always smiled.

He’s a momma’s boy. Daniel loved playing with his brothers and loved to dance. He adored Elmo and Mickey Mouse music.

Being around his brothers playing and singing to him made Daniel smile from ear to ear.

Until we see you again darlin’—fly high, play, dance, and sing your little heart out.

We are so very thankful to Amanda Soto of Little Bitty Pretty One Photography for donating her time and talent.
