Meet Robert and his family, they affectionately call him Robby. First, let’s state the obvious. Those eyes…those eyes! We get lost in the blueness, and wonder what this little boy is thinking during his spellbinding gaze. At only 3-years-old, it may seem silly to believe he is wise at such a young age, but something tells us he was destined to be a champion for life — a champion for living.
When Robby was 11-months-old, he was diagnosed with MLL-rearranged acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). He is currently receiving aggressive reinduction chemotherapy. Hopefully he’ll be in remission by the end of treatment. He is scheduled to have a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant this coming Monday pending results of an important test.
Robby is very curious and energetic. His mother said “nothing stops him” and that he has more energy than them! Turtles, fish, dogs and walks in the hospital garden light up his spirit. Reach high, dream big, and stay strong sweet boy ~ we are cheering for you!
“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
