Meet Brady and his family. Meet the face of innocence, sunshine, and courage.
This little guy is affectionately referred to as a warrior. Here’s why — Brady was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. Over the last year he has undergone 6 chemotherapy treatments, countless platelet & blood transfusions, CT scans, bone marrow biopsies, and a tumor removal in November 2012. Then he was admitted for a stem cell transplant for 6 weeks followed by radiation for 4 weeks. Once leaving the hospital, he spent 100 days in isolation with the exception of antibody therapy and clinic visits.
Brady is four-years-old. He’s currently undergoing antibody treatments. In between fighting for his precious life, this cutie pie enjoys playing with cars, trains, and going to baseball games. His family’s slogan is, “To remission and beyond!” Keep up the good fight Brady, because as Winnie the Pooh once said: “Any day spent with you is my favorite day. So today is my new favorite day.”
Special thanks to photographer Jill Serrano of http://jillserranophotography.com for donating her time and talent to Tiny Sparrow and super brave Brady.
