Matthew | Mitochondrial Disease | New York

{Mighty} Matthew is 8 years old and loves dancing, doing headstands, and is quite the jokester. From the beginning, this little man has been a fighter. Even before his diagnosis, he spent a lot of time in the hospital battling many different complications. Finally, after many years of tests, Matthew’s mommy and daddy were told their son has Mitochondrial Disease Complex l & lll. Although he has had a rough road, Matthew remains optimistic and makes the best of every situation. Matthew, we cannot wait to see what the future holds for you.

We cannot wait to see what amazing things you will accomplish. Never forget that the Tiny Sparrow Foundation is cheering for you.

We extend heartfelt thanks to Esther of Esther Mathieu Photography for her gift to our Foundation and Matthew’s family from behind her lens.
