Madilyn was born on August 25, 2009. It was the happiest day of her mommy’s life life. As her mommy shared on Madilyn’s blog, “she had the sweetest little cry and I knew that she was a wonderful blessing from God.” At the age of 1, life changed for this sweet little girl and her mommy and daddy with a diagnosis of Heptablastoma with the tumor being the size of a golf ball and too close to the blood supply to do surgery. There was a shift in the tumor that allowed for surgeons to do a liver resection.
After a brave, brave fight and would be on a chemotherapy plan until last year. Madilyn’s mommy and daddy received devastating news just weeks ago that Madilyn’s cancer has returned with limited treatment options. Right now her mommy and daddy are surrounding Madilyn with much love and not giving up {hope} as they have traveled to help her fight this cancer at a leading cancer treatment center.
